At the end of August Tess wasn't doing so well. We just found out that she was anemic and that we needed to get her on iron right away. Well that weekend she had a fever of 104 temp and by Tuesday it was still there. I just knew something was wrong. My mom came over that night to stay with Presley and Pierce and I took her up to the ER, Dustin met us there after work. We checked in and they thought she just had a fever and was dehydrated. So we were waiting to get some fluids into her. The doctor came in and said she needed to do some additional blood work on her too. So they did it all and we waited for the results. The doctor came in and gave us some NEWS no parents ever want to hear. We think she has leukemia and needs a blood transfusions right away. We can't help you at this hospital, but they are waiting for you over at Cardon's Children's Hospital. We waited for the ambulence to get there and transfer her. As we waited the doctor went over some things that they would be doing over there to treat her, and one of them was a bone merow transfer. I sat there in total SHOCK. I was thinking this can't be happening to us and especialy not to my little girl. They got there to pick her up. These two sweet guys got her on the gerny and she threw up all over them. We got her all cleaned up and Dustin went with them and my dad drove me over there. We got her all settled in her room. Dustin stayed with her the first night and I went home to try to get some sleep. I had to get Presley to school and to get my 2 month old some love. I went back up there in the morning to talk to doctors and to see what our plan was. I got there and they were starting her on her first blood transfusion. She looked so puffy and sick. My heart broke for my little girl. Dustin fought for his little girl that morning on the bone merow and convinced the doctors to do every test possible before doing that, So it was the waiting game! The first blood transfusion took 4 hours and after that she was very sleepy. She hadn't slept in 24 hours. The next day they did her blood work her red blood cells went up a little bit and the white blood cells went down a little bit. They were not quite where we wanted them to be but they were going up. She got her 2nd transfusion that afternoon and she had about had enough. She was trying to pull every cord out of her body. Having a 2 year old sit for 3 to 4hours at a time was hard. Still after that one her red and white cells went up and down but not where they should be. We talked to a nutritionist about her milk intake and they advised us to cut her off and start her on pediasure. So after 3 days in the hospital they were letting us go. At the time her blood cells were starting to go up and down, but not where they should be. We left relieved knowing that it was not CANCER!! It was just her iron levels and that she would be on a iron rich diet and have to take liquid iron twice a day and lots of doctor visits to follow. We were so happy that it wasn't lukemia. The first doctors visit was good her numbers were up. Then to see the oncologist, I was so scared to go cause we left the hospital with no real answers so I was affraid he would find something. He told us her numbers were better than great. Now I know that it can be a very serious situation if you don't have iron in your body! I feel so bad that there were signs but she was too little to tell me. We have our little girl back. She is just the happiest thing ever. She plays with the other kids and talks so much more now! I love you so much Tess and would do anything for you. Thank you to all the people who donate blood!!

Tess Miley Hansen turned 2 on July 26th. We had a little swim party at Dustin's parent's house. She got lot's of fun toy's to play with. She had so much fun blowing out her candle's and hearing everyone to sing to her. I love you so much Tess, You are such a special little girl!

Pierce's First Tie

So this past Sunday, we decided to dress Pierce in his first little tie. He looked so handsome and is such a happy baby. We are so blessed to have him and just love him to pieces. He is growing up so fast and we can not believe he is already four months old, the time is just flying by. I need to update our last few months but I just wanted to share his most recent picture. Our little boy is finally here. He chose to come Saturday June 26th. It was my last day of work! After work I went over to my in-laws to hang out. My girl's were over there for the day so Dustin could clean the house cause I was going to be induced on that Monday. So we were all hanging out swimming and then came in to shower and clean up. My father in law left to go down the street to pick up dinner, in that little time he was gone my water broke and I was starting to have contractions. He got home and my mother in law and I left for the hospital. I feel really bad now how mean I was to her that night. I kept telling her to drive faster and to run a red light and even run over a cat. I have my babies fast so I was very worried we wouldn't make it in time. We got there and Dustin met us there. I got checked in and went straight in to my room, no time to stop in the triage room to get checked since my water broke. My mom, Paige, Tatum and Brooke all made it to the hospital. I was in a lot of pain and I broke down and got the epidural. My plan was to not get one but I got it. They got it all in and I was still in a lot of pain, they kept saying this will be your last contraction just give it a few more minutes. Well I was still feeling stuff but not as bad, the nurse checked me and I was at a ten and ready to push. At that time I was thinking why did I brake down and get the epidural? But, I'm glad that I did cause it helped me calm down. I could still feel a lot of stuff it just took the edge off. The doctor got there and I pushed a few times and next thing I knew my baby boy was here. He is so perfect and all my special people were all surrounding me during this exciting time. I got there to the hospital at 10pm and at 11:30pm he was here. We just love having a boy he is so sweet and I love him so much. My girls are so cute with him. Presley asks to hold him all the time and she is so good with him. Tess is so cute always saying baby and loves to hold him to. Dustin and I feel so blessed to have a new little guy in our family. I can't wait to see what kind of personality he will have. I love you so much Pierce.

We got our family picture's done a week ago. I wanted to get a nice family picture before the baby came since we have never had one with all of us. Well now I know why, Miss Tess didn't want anything to do with family picture's and the word smile is not in her vocabulary. She is our moody child and seems to only like Dustin.... I still think they turned out pretty cute and hopefully someday this kid will learn to smile. Of course Presley was all for smiling and posing and having a good time. I have always thought pregnancy pictures were cheesy but chose to this time since I am thinking this will be mine and Dustin's last child. We went today and got a 4D ultrasound. It was so fun getting to see his cute face and watch him move all over. I'm suprised that we got such good pictures, cause when we started all we could see was the back of his head. But the ultrasound tech got him to move for us. We are excited to meet this cute little guy at the end of June.

BEFORE After

So we have been getting ready for baby Hansen at our house. We have been doing a lot of organizing and making space for another kiddo. In the girl's room I've been trying to make room for the girl's to share a room. So here are a few of my project's that I have done to update the room. I had these frames in the room and they just had plain white mats and each frame had pictures of Presley in it. So to update them, I went to the scrapbook store and got a bunch of fun paper and ripped it up and glued it to the mats. Then took some mod podge and put it all over the top to seal down the paper. I put their names on it and got some new ribbon and painted the nobs black.I think they turned out pretty cute and I only spent $15 dollars. I took down Presley's initials and got the girl's new ones to put up in the room. They were just black medal ones so to make them girly I got big rhinestones and flowers to put on them. I got magnets for the backs of the rhinestones and flowers so I can easily change them out. Here are some pictures, but the room is still not done. I will show the entire room once we are finished. Dustin is a neat freak and very picky with furniture and he is going to be ordering dressers for the girls. Once the baby crib is done I will post some pictures of his new room too....

It's a BOY!!!

We couldn't be more excited! We went yesterday to find out what we were having. I was so nervous all morning long. Dustin and the girls and I all went to the appointment together. Dustin was joking with the ultrasound tech that because the heart beat was higher, he knew he had another girl on his hands. Sure enough the ultrasound lady said you have never seen one of those before. I was crying and Dustin had a smile from ear to ear. Presley has been telling me and everyone she meets for months that she is having a baby brother. It is amazing that kids just know certain things. I have been trying to warn her that it could be another sister and she would just say No mom its a baby brother! She was so cute during the ultrasound, she leaned over to Dustin and said, "Isn't he beautiful dad". I'm so excited to have my sweet girls and Dustin to help me with our newest addition. I just knew I had to be having a boy, I thought I was sick with the girls, but this little guy has had me so sick since day one. We just can't wait to meet this sweet little guy!! Dustin would love it even more if he could share his Birthday with his son. My due date is a day before his b-day so we shall see. I have come early with the other two, but every pregnancy is different. !!!

Christmas 2009

We had a great Christmas this year. We enjoyed many fun Holiday parties and family gatherings. To start off Christmas my mom had all the grand kids over for a sleep over. They ate pizza,roasted marshmallows, built a gingerbread house,received new Christmas PJ's and watched Christmas movies. She is such a fun Grammie. Presley had her first Christmas program at school and did great. As a family we went and saw the temple lights and had a fun family date. We spent Christmas eve with Dustin's family. We had a great sit down dinner and then after opened gifts and played games. Christmas morning was so much fun. This was the first year Presley realized how much fun Christmas is. She woke up around 6:oo am and crawled into bed with us and wanted to watch TV, I was so surprised that she didn't want to open any gifts. An hour went by and then she woke me up saying "Mom I think Santa came get up". She was so happy and very excited that Santa ate his cookies and milk. Christmas afternoon we went over to my sister Brooke's house to hang out with my family. We had a nice and relaxing Christmas this year. Sorry for the picture over load!!

BIG UPDATE

Well I have to catch up again on my blog!! Well My baby isn't a baby any more. She had two great birthday parties. One with Dustin's family and our friends the Mabry's. Unfortunately Tess was cutting some teeth on her big day so she was not to happy. We all still had a great time eating great food and swimming. Then the following week we had another little party with my family. We had a great time hanging out trying to put all the toys together. Tess never destroyed her cake. We tried to get her to, but she didn't want anything to do with it. She is one kid that DOESN'T like sweets!!

4th of July Fun 2009

** 6 new post all in one day!!!

For the Fourth of July we went to San Diego for a week on the beach! We had so much fun with my sister Paige and her family and a ton of friends. There was a total of 15kids there. We got there on Saturday June 27th. We enjoyed great weather and great company. While we where there Dustin celebrated his 27th Birthday. We had a great day riding beach cruisers and going out to dinner. The guys loved the wave house and the kids loved all the fun rides they had right around there. Unfortunately the first day we lost Sydney and Presley for a good 15 minutes that felt like hours, so after that I was a nervouse wreck needing to know where my child was at all times! Luckily Dustin ran the beach and found the girls sitting on the boardwalk hanging out. Also on the first day I forgot to put sunscreen on Presley and she got burned so bad that we had to put on prescription burn cream and wrap it all up. She had a blister the size of a lightbulb coming out her back. I know better than this and I always have 70+ on all my white kidos. After that Presley wore her long sleeve rash guard. We had a great and relaxing week with friends!

Dustin had a great Father's day! Him, his brother, and dad all went golfing and had a great day together. After we had a little bbq with the family we headed to my families house for some desert. Girl's Trip To California

A couple months back I took a girls trip to Newport Beach with my sister Paige and my cousin's wife Arline. It was with a big group of girls that Paige plays bunko with. We had a ton of fun right on the beach. We pretty much slept in every morning went shopping for hours, ate great food, went to the movies, got pedicures, and enjoyed great girl talk! I can't wait until we do it again!

I'm just trying to catch up on all the stuff that has gone on. So here is what we did for Presley's birthday. We had a little Hawaiian themed party with the girls from play group. We were celebrating Jena's birthday too. The girl's had a great time making cute flower flip flops. We had a great time with all the girl's. Presley's birthday was on a Monday this year and I had to work so I was thinking we could do something fun the next day and she would never know what day was her day. Plus she was with my mom the whole day and she got spoiled. Well I was wrong she new what day it was and when we walked in the house on her b-day and she saw that there was no cake or party she was not to happy! So the next day I was planning on doing something fun and special, so I took her and Sydney to play at the water place at San Tan Mall and then the girls got their nails done and went out to dinner! Then we had a little family birthday party with Dustin's family. Like always she gets spoiled every year. She had a great Birthday and I still can't believe that my baby is already 4 years old!

I need to do a big update, but for now it's a quick one. I need to do this because this is Tess's baby book, sad I know. I do all these updates on here and not in her book. I have only wrote her name in her book. Good thing for my blog. Now this little peanut is 9 months and I can't believe she is already that old. This girl has been through a lot in the last couple of months. We started out with an ear infection then a urinary track infection to a double ear infection. With the UTI she had to get some tests done at the hospital, no fun. everything came back good and she doesn't have reflex. This reflex is different then the reflex she had awhile back. She weighs 18lbs and is 27inches. She is in the 25-50 percentile. She is getting her two top teeth. The first one popped through May 2nd. and the other one May 7th. She also loves to dance. Dustin taught her to dance and shake her head and this little girl has some rhythm. She is also pulling herself up on everything and walking around furniture. She is been so sweet through it all. Her cute little smile makes me melt. We call her smiley Miley!! I love you Tess

Fun on Easter

So today we gathered with both Dustin's family and mine. First we went over to Dustin's parents house for an Easter lunch. Dustin's aunt and uncle and their kids along with his grandma came over as well. After we hung out with them we headed over to my parents house for dinner. My dad thought it would be really cute to buy all the grand kids colored baby chicks for their Easter gift. My parents have been remodeling their bathroom so they have some old bath fixtures out in the back yard, here is a goofy picture that my sister Paige took of Dustin and I, I was dying laughing. I also snuck a funny picture in of Dustin eating food, he hates when I do this! Here are some fun pictures of the girls. After we finished visiting all of the families, Dustin and my brother in law Rex were off to scare people. My brother in law Rex had a train horn put on his truck and we can not stop laughing when he pulls up in front of someone and honks. The first time I heard it, I about fell over. You should see some of the reactions people give when they are honked at. Below is a sample clip of what Dustin and Rex have been enjoying(this is not actually them though).

A Little Under the Weather

This past month has been no fun for my kids. They first started out with both of them having double ear infections. This was Presley's first ear infection so it was her first time on a antibiotic, after 7 days of taking it she was covered in hives. Now we know that she is allergic to penicillin like her uncle Dayton. Yeah for that to be over, after 7days of taking benadryl she is good to go. Then on to my sweet baby Tess I thought she had the flu, but sadly she had a urinary track infection. The poor girl has had to have a couple of tests done and one of them involved a catheter. Dustin was an awesome dad and was very concerned so he took 3 days off of work to stay home with his girls and make sure he could be with them. We are now just waiting to get an ultra sound done and a VCUG. She is on antibiotics and seems to be doing better every day and Dustin gave her a blessing. Hopefully next month will be better, we are not liking seeing our little girls sick.

Girls Just Want 2 Have Fun

So on Saturday when I got home from work this is what I saw going down the street and up & down the hill by Dustin's parents house. Yes, my little baby looking so grown up. It freaked me out at first thinking she was going to fall out, but she was having a good time. I know the pictures make it look like she didn't like it, but she did. In one of the pics they are about to run me over. Also on Saturday Tess had some BIG mile stones she got her first tooth and she is officially crawling all over the place. Now that she is crawling she is trying to pull herself up on things. So in the last two pictures there is one of her new smile with the new tooth and one of her standing, thinking she is pretty cool. My last post I forgot to put that she is saying mama like crazy, and I think it's making Dustin crazy because he keeps trying to get her to say dadda. I just love these girls so much, they make us laugh all the time!!

I wanted to post some updated photos of Tess. She is starting to work on crawling and loves to sit up and play. A funny story about the other day, so I am sitting in the front room and Presley comes in and says, "Mom I have lost my smile" I ask her where here smile has gone to and she says, "I have left it at Paige's house." I started laughing so hard because the girls were over playing at their cousins earlier in the day and Presley did not want to come home. Growing Up

Tess is just growing up so fast. She is now holding her own bottle, sitting up on her own, rolling all over the place, and she loves her new jumping saucer that always seem to put her to sleep! Presley is doing good being the big sister and helping her with whatever she needs. Presley is growing up so much too, her new thing is to be this little social butterfly and talk to everyone. She is very proud of herself that she can write her name, and we are so proud of her too! We just love our little girls so much! Here are some new pictures of Tess!

Here are some pictures I took the other day. I'm so glad that everyone at our house is feeling better, that is no fun to be sick. I can't believe that my baby Tess is 6 months old. She had her check up today and she is just a peanut. She is 15lbs 5oz and she is the same length she was at her 4 month check up. Sadly she had to get 4 shots today, it was her first time realizing what was going on and screamed the whole time. We are happy to say that we think she has out grown her reflex. We just stopped giving her the medicine and she has been a totally different baby. She has been so fun and we can finally enjoy her cute personality. Presley is very good at getting her to laugh really hard. Little Ms.Presley is not so little I can't believe that she will be 4 in April. The last 4 years have just flown by. She is such a little sweetheart and is a great little helper. Dustin has so much fun with her and calls her his little buddy. She is currently enjoying her playgroup and spending time with 7 little girls her same age in the neighborhood. She is very excited that her cousin Kennedi is going to be in her playgroup now too. She loves going to dance with her cousin Sydney every Wednesday. We have just been hanging out and enjoying life as a family.

Fun Holiday's

We have had a fun couple of weeks! First we had many fun family Christmas parties to attend. It is always fun to get together and see everyone. We had a great Christmas, Presley is at the perfect age for Santa. I think she got everything she wanted, and if you ask her what her favorite gift was she will say her flute. I think she says that because my cousin Micheal dressed up and played Santa and that is what he gave her. On Christmas day we had Dustin's family over to our house for dinner and to exchange gifts. We had a great day with all of our families. Unfortunately Dustin got strep on Christmas eve, and was sick for a good 5 days. Then for New year's eve we went to Newport Beach for a couple of days. It was nice to get away and relax in the beach cities. It was our first trip with the baby and she did so good. Here are a few pictures of Christmas and Newport. We went to see the Newport temple but it was closed for the holiday, but we did take some pictures. I didn't take very many pictures for the holidays, because I video taped everything. A trip to the DENTIST

Last week was Presley's first trip to the dentist, we both got our teeth cleaned. She did so good but insisted that I went first before she would sit down in the chair. I'm very proud to announce that she had NO cavities! She must have her daddy's teeth! I'm so glad that she had a good experience and that she LOVES going to the dentist now.

Warning lots of pictures

This past month we have had a lot going on. First, Presley started dance with her cousin Sydney, she love's going and is doing very well. It is so cute because Sydney is very mothering to Presley. She always takes Presley's tap shoes off and puts her ballet shoes on before she does her own. Then we had Tatum's birthday party at Glitter Box. The girls had a blast thinking they were little rock star's and super models with there hair do's. Finally we got to meet my cousins new little girl Sadie, her and Tess are 13 days apart. It was so fun getting together for a cute group picture. Next we had my Grandma Daley's 75th birthday party with all the family. It was fun getting together and seeing the family. Last but not least HALLOWEEN, we had a great day, Dustin's work had a big party for all the family. Then we went to his parents house to carve pumpkins and go trick or treating. And last but not least, we were off to my parents to see the cousins and hang out. It was a long but very fun day. Here are some picture of all of the events! Last night Dustin and I went out with some friends Spencer and Lindsey Jones and Garrett and Amy Miles. We lucked out because Spencer had gotten reservations at a place called Pizzeria Bianco a while back and this place has gotten some awesome reviews. It's downtown in the historic district and in an old firehouse. The owner is the chef and you can only choose from a few select pizzas. I highly recommend this place! You will not be disappointed. It was a lot of fun and after we finished we headed out to get some gelato. It was a fun night and we enjoyed spending it with friends.

Well my sweet baby is getting better. Thank you for all the great advice and ideas. I have tried them all. We have our little system down on how to give her the medicine and what would I do with out the swing, she lives in that thing. The last couple of night's have been good, there has been NO crying for hours. She LOVES the breast milk and can keep it down pretty well, but I do have to supplement. We have found a formula that has been working Enfamil A.R. this one has rice cereal in it, and she keeps it down. She is getting so big to me and she is starting to smile. Presley is still doing good as a big sister and loves to help. Here is one of my favorite pictures that my sweet cousin Stacey took of me and my girls.

Our new little girl Tess has had her problems as of late with spitting up. I figured that I had the baby that was the spit up girl. Well last week it got worse and she would cry morning and night. At first I thought it was something I ate and it was upsetting her stomach. After a couple of days of this I knew it was not this and that it was something else. On Monday I took her to the doctor to see what was going on. They checked to see if it was a food allergy, but that came back just fine. Then her doctor said it was probably acid reflex or a muscle in her stomach that is too strong and can make babies projectile throw up. Well we have Tess on some acid reflex medicine and that seems to be helping her out a lot. There has been less throwing up and crying all night. I hope that it's just the reflex and not the other, because the only way to fix the other one is surgery. For now we have our sweetheart back and we just can't get enough of her. When we were at the doctors they weighed her and to my surprise she weighs 7lbs. 10oz. Presley is doing so good with her. It's so cute because she will come up to her and kiss her and say "hi my little sweetheart".

Well the last week and a half has been an adjustment. We are having fun with a new baby at our house. I'm trying to get on some what of a schedule. Every night is just a little different from the night before. Presley has been so good and so patient with me. She is a lot of help with going and getting me things that I need for the baby. We are so lucky to have another sweet little girl that is a great baby. Here are some pictures that I took of Tess. The last picture is of Presley all dressed up in her new apron that her Aunt Paige got her. I'm so glad that she is so good at entertaining herself.

We are all so excited, our beautiful little girl is finally here. She came into this world so fast, in fact she came so quick I did not even have time for the anesthesiologist to get there so I got to experience an all natural child birth. We arrived at 5:15 a.m. and by 7:01 a.m. I was holding her in my arms. She weighed 6lbs 2oz and was 19.5 in long and was born on July 26, 2008. My mom and Dustin's mom also missed it because she came so fast. I went from a 6 to a 10 in less than 5 minutes and after 2 good pushes she was out. Below are some cute pictures of Tess and the family. She was worth it all and we are so excited to welcome her into our little family.

What we have been up to lately..... Well last week my mother in law, mom, sister's, & cousin threw me a baby sprinkle. It was so nice to have all my family and close friends come have lunch. They all sprinkled me and the baby with fun stuff. Presley did make out pretty well too. Thanks to all those who could make it, we had a blast. This past Sunday was Dustin's birthday. We had a nice day as a family and just relaxed.His sweet mom made him his favorite blueberry cream pie. Now we just have 4 weeks left till our 2nd baby girl will be here. I hope she comes on her due date, so that all the family will be home from there vacations. We will just wait and see when she decides to have her birthday. We will keep you all updated!

Here are some new pictures of the baby that we got today. It was so much fun to get a 3D ultrasound. We could see her cute face and all her cute features. She had her hand over her face in most of the pictures. So she must sleep like Presley and me, with her hands over her face or above her head. They said that everything is looking good and that her estimated weight is 3lbs. We are getting so excited to meet our cute little girl. Dustin told the ultrasound tech that he thinks the baby has Angelina Jolie lips and she bursted out laughing.

Here is the bean recipe that I made for bunko. It is so yummy you can eat it as a meal or make it to go with hamburgers or bbq beef. I hope you all enjoy!

1 large can of pork & beans
1 can of kidney beans
1 can of butter beans
1/2 cup bacon diced & chopped
1/2 of a medium onion
1lb of hamburger
1 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of ketchup
1/2 tsp. garlic
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. vinegar

Brown hamburger and onions, drain grease. Put everything in a greased casserole dish. Cover with foil and bake @ 350 for 45min to 1 hour.

I hope you all had a great mother's day! I had a great day hanging out with my family. We had lunch with Dustin's parents for the first half of our day. We had a great time outside hanging out enjoying the nice day. Presley got a bubble gun and had fun shooting bubbles at everyone. We did get a group picture of Dustin's mom, Grandma, Presley, and me, but I look so big in the picture so we will not be blogging it. We then went over to my parents house for dinner. Well today is my little girl's birthday. I can't believe that it was three years ago that she was born. She was the best baby and is such an easy going kid. She gave me no trouble when delivering, it took seven hours from the time we got to the hospital to the time she was in my arms. She was a week early and weight 6lbs 9oz. She had a lot of dark hair. She had blue eyes and everyone would always tell me that they would change, but she is one lucky girl with dark hair and blue eyes. She has always been my little buddy and side kick. Her and her daddy have a very special bond. They get to have a daddy daughter day every Saturday. I go to work and they get to hang out and do fun things. I love to come home and see what she will have on and what her hair looks like. Dustin tries very hard to get it right but I think Presley has the final say. I'm so excited that Presley will have a sister and I know she will be the best big sister. We love you so much and I wish you many more happy birthdays to come. Today we celebrated Presley's Birthday. She doesn't turn three til the 27th, but today was my day off work. We went to the park with all her cousins and friends. It's official, Presley is in to underwear and going to the bathroom like a big girl. She started doing this on her own which is good because the other day Dustin bought her a playhouse and when he finished putting it together he told her she could not use it until she learned to go to the bathroom in the big people potty. Sure enough 3 times that night she went all by herself. It is funny what a little treat will do for kids. It has been 2 full weeks and she is doing great. We are both happy because she will be 3 this week and with the other baby coming we wont have to buy diapers for a little while.

So this past Saturday Dustin promised Presley she could go to the salon and get her nails done while I was working. Here is a cute picture of her that Dustin took on his phone and sent to me at work. I hope that everyone had a great Easter! We had a wonderful day with both of our families. We went to church with Dustin's parents and then had a lovely lunch at there house. After lunch Presley enjoyed a nice little egg hunt in the backyard. After there we went over to my parents house to finish off our day. We played games, jumped on the tramp, played teather ball, and watched TV. My mom made a great ham dinner that we all enjoyed. It was a great day hanging out with the family. We had a great day at the zoo. It is spring break for Grammy Darla so she wanted to take Presley to the zoo, and we invited Sydney to come with us. She spent the night at our house last night. We had a lot of fun looking at all the animals and going to the petting zoo. The weather was nice, we should have put some sunscreen on for us fair skin girls. The girls loved the merry go round at the end of the day. After coming home from the zoo we colored Easter eggs. The girls had a fun and long day and both of them crashed on the car ride home. Last night Dustin and I attended a birthday party for a co-worker of his and after we finished he took me to get some Gelato in Scottsdale. He is always ranting and raving about how good this place is so I finally took him up on his offer. This place was really good and had a cute pizzeria and cafe attached and is actually a really fun place to go for date night. The cafe has some delicious food and best of all tammie coe cakes. This place is full of wonderful baked goods and I can see why it is so popular. Well anyways, we were sitting there eating and Dustin jumped up and said, "I will be right back." When he returned he had purchased me a birthday cake because he felt bad that he was sick on my birthday and could not do much for me. So it is official, today Dustin came with me to my ultrasound appt to find out what we were having. It was so cute because the whole time Presley kept saying," I want a baby sister." She and Dustin sat and watched as the technician projected images of the baby on the big screen and we all had a great time. I will add some pictures soon of the baby once I get them scanned into the computer. Just like the last time, Dustin and I had all boy names picked out and we are having to figure out some cute girl names now.The baby was healthy and everything looked good!

My last week

The last couple of days have been a little crazy. Yesterday I went to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned and I have no cavities, but I need to get a crown on one of my previous fillings. After this, I headed to my OB appointment for just a check up. Well I get there and I wait for an hour and then they take me back and they say you can see the PA right now or you can wait another hour to see your doctor. Well my great friend Heather was watching Presley and I was feeling so bad that it was taking forever already. So I chose to see the PA. Everything was looking great the heart beat was good and strong and even better news was that my due date went back to July 29th, pushing it up a couple of days. Well soon after the PA was checking my stomach and started pressing on my left side and it was causing a little pain. From my last visit I learned that I had a small cyst on my left ovary that they saw in the ultrasound. The PA had a strange look on her face and acted like she could feel the cyst and asked me if I could be back in one week. Then she leaves the room to get my prescriptions and comes back in and lets me know the Dr. needs to see me first thing tomorrow and acted worried. So I leave not knowing what is going on, trying hard not to freak out. So needless to say that was a difficult night for me and trying to fall asleep was no fun. Dustin came with me the next day to my ultrasound to be by my side. Upon looking at the ultrasound they see the cyst is there but actually had gone down in size and was actually nothing bad. So that whole night I worried for nothing and the baby still looks good and everything is right on track. So with that little scare behind us, I am looking forward to my next ultrasound because we will be finding out the sex. Sorry this was so long but this was my past week! I hope everyone else had a great week.

I hope you all had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year! We have been busy this month. The beginning of the month we went and saw Temple lights and had a great time as a family! Presley really loved all the Christmas decorations and lights. We attended many fun family Christmas parties and enjoyed seeing everyone. We had a fun Christmas morning this year with Presley. She was so excited to see that Santa brought her a cute pink kitchen, with all the cute kitchen cook wear to go with it. This last weekend we went to California with my family. We had a ton of fun and Presley misses seeing her cousins every morning at the door. We had a great New Year's there as well. My parents were so nice to stay with the kids so that we could go to dinner and a movie with my sister Paige and her husband Rex. We had a great time, but stayed out to late. We got up the next morning and went to Disneyland. Presley and her cousins were in heaven the whole time. I think her favorite part was dancing with the princess's and meeting them. We have had a great month spending time with family and friends. I'm very happy this month is over because I have been sick all month long and started hating Christmas one of my favorite holidays. I'm feeling a little bit better and my best friend right now is Zofran, if I don't take it in the morning right when I wake up then the toilet is my best friend. So I hope I get over this first trimester and start feeling better or this is my LAST KID! Hope you all had a Happy New Year!

Well I'm excited to say that I'm pregnant. I'm about 8 weeks along and everything looks great. I have had a couple of ultra sounds, one at 4 1/2 weeks to make sure that everything looked good and one today to check the heart beat. Everything is looking wonderful and Dustin and I are both very excited. My due date is Aug.2,2008 right smack in the summer time heat.

My crazy sleeper

Tonight Presley was in her room playing with her toys, and for a while there was a good deal of noise in there. After a little while it grew very quiet in there which made me start to wonder. There are always two things that come to mind when it is a little too quiet, they are either getting in to something or that they actually fell asleep? Well luckily for me, my little girl was fast asleep! After taking pictures of my crazy sleeper I moved her so she wouldn't have a kink in her neck.

Last night we went over to Dustin's parents for Halloween. We had a great night trick or treating and passing out candy. Presley and my in-law's dog were bumble bees, they both looked so cute. Kolie, their dog was a little embarrassed parading around in her costume. After hanging out for a while we headed over to my sister Paige's house to see my family and had a great time as well. It's our Anniversary today! I can't believe it has been 4 years since we got married! Dustin is such a great husband, father, and friend! I think he is the funniest guy around and makes everyone around him laugh! He is a hard worker at everything he does! Now I don't want everyone to get jealous, but not only is he a hard worker at work he is at home to, he cleans the house, vacuums, cleans Presley's room a couple times a night, does his own laundry, and the list could go on and on about him cleaning! I'm so proud of him he just finished his bachelors degree and is going to get started on his masters! Last night we celebrated our anniversary and we went to dinner at Ruth Chris steak house! We had a great time at dinner and it was delicious! Dustin spoiled me like he always does, he got me juicy perfume, new pj's, and a gift card to buckle! I feel bad because this year we said we wouldn't give gifts so Dustin got a big fat KISS! We had a great night together. I love this guy more and more each day!

Fun with the Girls

Last week Presley and I went to San Francisco with my mom,Paige,Tatum,and Sydney! We had a fun girls trip, we missed Brooke and her girls though! We shopped till we dropped with all the great shops in Union Square. We ate so much food, but no worries we did not pack on the pounds. I think we walked it off the first day we were there. My mom kept saying the hotel is just a couple more blocks, but the blocks in San Fran are all up hill!(killer with a stroller) After that we learned how to get around by using the BART,the trolley cars,cable cars, and taxi's. We went to Chinatown and we found this hole in the wall fortune cookie factory. The kids loved watching them make all the cookies. We went to fisherman's wharf to see a group of sea lions, the kids could have stayed there all day watching them. But once Paige and I saw one of them pooping in the water we were DONE! We had a great time making fun memories with the girls! Thanks mom for letting Presley and I come last minute!

So last night Dustin and I are sitting in Presley's room hanging out with her. We had just put in the Little Einsteins movie for her and she was so excited. Well sure enough she starts repeating the character's lines before they even did it. Dustin and I were laughing so hard. Presley knew every line of this movie and she would laugh when they would laugh, she would get scared when they would get scared and she practically acted the whole movie out for us. We just barely purchased this movie for her a month ago and she has watched it a few times, but sure enough this kid has memorized all the words, instruments, music, and character's lines in this movie. Dustin and I were both pretty impressed because she totally knew what she was doing.

On Wednesday night we went over to Rex and Paige's houses for a birthday party for the boys! They had a swim party in the backyard. We had a great time with all the family. Landon got some great gifts for a two year old! He got his first real watch and a lot of fun boy dress up stuff! I thought that Tatum was very creative in making her own bra! She always comes up with something crazy. We helped pick up after the party and Dustin was vacuuming in the family room then picking up the vacuum and scaring the kids! Presley got a balloon from the party and had to hold it the whole way home. She was asleep when we got home and I tried to take it out of her hands and she would not let it go. On Saturday night when we got home from Dustin's parents house I went to get the mail and discovered something, all of these new magazines. You see our mailman is not to bright, in fact Dustin is always saying, "We mine as well have Stevie Wonder delivering our mail." The mail person never gets anything right so when we get home from work at night we go around the neighborhood and trade with the neighbors. Since all of these magazines did not have names and addresses on them, I am now getting up to date on all of the Hollywood gossip. After reading, I decided to take a shower and wash my hair. It was so cute because Presley had to do everything that I was doing so she got her hair all wet and got a washcloth to put on her hair to dry to match my towel head. She is my little sidekick and is watching my every move. Other than that, not to many exciting events took place this weekend. Hope you all have a great week!

Presley's Room

Today I finished off Presley's room. We took down her crib and put up her new toddler bed. After taking down her crib there was a bare spot on her wall. I had know idea what I wanted to put there. I was at my sister Paige's house and she had just made some cute frames with her kid's initials in them. So I totally loved this idea to feel the spot in Presley's room. I think they look perfect there and her room is now complete. Here are a few pictures of Presley's room.

Strollers and PJ's

Tonight Presley got some new pj's and decided to sport them for bedtime. Dustin has been pushing her around the house all night in her little stroller at a 100 mph. She is getting a kick out of it and now we are in trouble because that's all she wants to do. We are going to have to get in shape if we are to keep this up.

Barbie Girl

So last week we made a trip to our favorite store Costco. We were there returning our TV that was only 3 months old, the sound on it just stopped working, (Dustin still thinks I am the one who broke it." We ended up getting a better LCD TV and Dustin is happier now with this one. While we were there Presley spotted something that she just had to have, this cute barbie jeep! Let me just tell you she knows how to work her dad! I was thinking she is to young and it will just sit in the backyard. The first night was funny because she was a new driver and kept gassing then stopping, just jerking back and forth. Now she is getting the hang of it and loving it. This week was Dustin's birthday he turned 25. We went out on Friday to a movie and dinner. Dustin's parents kept Presley over night for us. On Sunday we celebrated with his family with a BBQ and then had desert over at my parents. He had a great birthday and his favorite gift was his Xbox 360 live, that he bought for himself! Happy Birthday babe!

Swimming Lessons

This week Presley started her swimming lessons. Paige's kids and Presley are learning together in Rex and Paige's pool. It has been so nice to just go over and have our private teacher show up. The first couple of days Presley was scared but did whatever Tyler (the teacher) told her to do. By Thursday she she couldn't wait for her turn in the pool. It's so funny because her and Landon both have this look on their faces like, " You want me to do what." They are all doing so well, Sydney has been so cute and so proud of herself that see is getting good at swimming. Tatum is also doing very well, she is so cute because she has a secret crush on the teacher and has a hard time concentrating on what he is telling her to do. We can't wait for next week to see what they learn.

Swing Time

So this weekend Dustin was visiting Home Depot and felt the need to get the family a swing. He enjoys working in the yard and after he is done, he likes to relax and sit back and enjoy his nice back yard. So I came home from work and he surprised me with a big comfy swing. It is actually nice to sit out and relax when the sun goes down and talk with him. Tonight Presley joined him and I was able to capture the moment.

Tonight I made blueberry muffins and I put them out on the counter to cool off and sure enough, I came back to find Ms. Presley with one already in her little hands ready to eat. She had a lot of fun today with all the kids and grammy and papa. We took my dad out to eat for an early Fathers Day present since he will be out of town this weekend. Once again Presley and Landon took the cutest picture together.

Putting on a show at Nordstroms

So tonight we ran up to the mall. We were in Nordstrom's dressing room waiting for Dustin to try on some shorts and Presley was being so cute. She was looking at herself in the mirror, standing on the tailoring step moving her foot up and down going "1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9,10". Then I would say, "You forgot 5," and she would say "SHHH" and then start over again. The girl helping us thought she was so cute and Presley was totally putting on a show for all of Nordstroms! It was a great night after a long day of work!

Big Mess

So a couple of weeks ago our hot water heater broke! We didn't know it had been leaking for over a week into a couple of the walls in the garage. We had no hot water for over four days, because Dustin ripped everything out for repairs. Good thing that my sweet sister Paige took us in and let us stay at her house while Dustin and a family friend fixed the walls and installed a new water heater. We had a lot of fun at Rex and Paige's house, and enjoyed our own wing of the house in their guest quarters! The kids had tons of fun playing all day and night long! We are very glad that we are back at home! Being out of the house for 4 days meant there was a lot of catching up to do! Not a fun mess, but things are back to normal and good now!

A couple of weeks ago we were swimming at Dustin's parents house, and if any of you know my husband he is a jokester! So we were swimming and we got out and we turned around and Dustin had put the dog on a raft! Poor Kolie(THE DOG), I do not know how she always puts up with these boys!
